Keasden Head Farm – Self Catering Barn

Tucked away in the heart of the beautiful Bowland hills, Keasden Head Farm offers a peaceful rural escape for small groups, with space to relax, reconnect and explore the landscape.
Accessed via a quiet farm track through open farmland, this charming self‑catering barn provides a genuine get‑away‑from‑it‑all experience on an idyllic upland working farm. Guests can enjoy being surrounded by farm animals, including cattle, sheep and lambs, miniature donkeys, pygmy goats, chickens, guinea fowl and peacocks.
The barn is ideal for family breaks, small group stays, educational visits, corporate away days or team‑building sessions, offering flexible and inclusive accommodation throughout.

- One double room
- One triple bunk room (double with single over)
- Plus double folding sofa bed in lounge
- Additional informal sleeping space also available in the large lounge using inflatable mattresses for 6 people
- Accessible, ground‑level accommodation throughout
- Two disabled toilets:
- One bathroom with a bath
- One bathroom with a shower
- Well‑equipped dining kitchen, perfect for cooking and eating together
- Multi‑fuel stove for cosy shared meals
- Underfloor heating throughout the property



Outdoor space & nature
Step outside to a large veranda and generous outdoor space, overlooking peaceful farmland and far‑reaching countryside views. The farm is an excellent spot for wildlife lovers, with opportunities to enjoy Bowland’s special birdlife, including nesting curlew, lapwing and snipe.


Camping & accessibility
- Camping is available in the adjacent field for additional members of your group (additional cost)
- The barn must be hired to access the camping field
- An all‑terrain Tramper wheelchair is available to pre‑book, allowing access to accessible farm trails and the surrounding landscape

A sister holiday cottage, Dam House Barn, Austwick, LA2 8DQ, is also available for enquiry. The property provides accessible accommodation, with an upstairs double bedroom and twin room with bathroom, plus a ground-floor single bedroom with an accessible en-suite. Additional informal sleeping options are available using blow-up mattresses, ideal for family stays.
