A film crew from BBC Countryfile spent two days in the Forest of Bowland just as spring arrived.

Presenters and producers made the most of the outstanding spring weather to shoot a series of features about the forthcoming Champions of Upland Farming exhibition, the Nature Calling outdoor arts project and artisan cheese-making at the Courtyard Dairy.

The amazing weather brought out the best in the National Landscape, with plenty of breath-taking scenic sequences supporting the in-depth feature packages.
